Schafer with 13 years of service Raised on June 06, 1995 Brothers as reported last month our lodge building is in need of some major repair work. The first thing we need to do is put a new roof on our lodge so that we will be able to keep the structure of the building in good condition. If we do not take care of this in the next year we will start to loose the building to irrevocable damage. Now to the important part we need your help!!! We have already received some small donations but it is time to really get serious. To help you decide how best you can help I would like to go over some of the plans available to you. First we have the Memorial square where you can buy pavers in memory of or to honor some one. The cost of the pavers is $100.00 each with the total amount going to the roof fund. You can also choose to make a one time donation to the lodge ear marked to the roof fund. All names will be placed in a permanent display to acknowledge your donation to our roof fund. We will also be accepting pledges of One Hundred, Five Hundred or One Thousand dollars. With the pledge you will have your name placed on a plaque to acknowledge your generous support of Smithtown Lodge. All pledges have the option of making payments over the next five years. I hope all my brothers will consider taking on this project and that we will be able to save this building for many years to come and keep the memory of Free and Accepted Masonry alive in Smithtown. No matter what you choose to do, you will receive progress reports on our fund raising efforts and what is being done with your donations.
